President's Corner

Thirteen Cruisin’ Chariot coaches were parked at Tom’s Campground in Dodgeville, Wisconsin the weekend of October 4th through the 7th.  The campground sits high on a hill over looking Wisconsin farms.  Mr. Al Talbot, the new Midwest Area Vice-President and MAC President and his wife Dory arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday.  Everyone had a chance to pass on their concerns and suggestions.  He promised to take these forward.  Members that were present – Holecek’s, Long’s, Don Russell and his sister Lois, Williams’, Willie’s, Harden’s, Morris’, Eich’s, Leeder’s, Purcell’s, Semitekol’s and Taylor’s.  A BIG thank you to the Morris’ and Williams’ for the Saturday catered buffet breakfast, the Saturday evening wine and cheese party and White Elephant sale.  All ate and drank to their satisfaction.

The members visited a number of the local sights.  Purcell’s spent most of their time at The House on the Rock.  Others visited the Oktoberfest in New Glarus and Mount Horeb, the popcorn shop on Route 1 in Livingston and the wineries in the area.
